Coaching Staff & Scientific Team 2026–2027

The Penteli Fencing Club “LYNX” presents its new coaching staff and scientific team for the 2026–2027 season.

With the goal of fostering the well-rounded development of every athlete, we are investing in people with experience, scientific training, and a shared vision.

- Fokas Michailidis
Head of the Sabre Department
A former international athlete and member of the National Team for more than ten years. With significant competitive and coaching experience, he instills in our athletes proper technique, discipline, respect, and a competitive mindset.

- Dimitris Makris
Head of the Sabre Division
First-Class Coach, a graduate of the School of Physical Education and Sports Science with a specialization in competitive fencing, and a former high-level athlete. He joins the LYNX family, bringing modern coaching methods, scientific knowledge, and competitive experience.

- Flora Papitsi
Sports Psychologist – Scientific Collaborator
A psychologist specializing in sports psychology and a collaborator with the Hellenic Fencing Federation. Her presence enhances our athletes’ mental preparation, self-confidence, and competitive performance.
