PENTELI'S SUMMER CAMP 2026

The “Lygas” Fencing Club in the Municipality of Penteli’s Summer Camp, offering more than 1,000 children the opportunity to experience the exciting sport of fencing firsthand.

Throughout the program, the young participants had the opportunity to get their first taste of the sport’s basic principles through interactive activities, games, and specially designed exercises. The lessons and presentations were led by coaches as well as athletes from Lygka, who shared their knowledge, experiences, and love for fencing with the children, serving as role models for the younger participants. In a safe, enjoyable, and educational way, the children learned about the values of fencing, such as respect, discipline, concentration, self-confidence, and fair play.

The children’s enthusiastic response and excitement confirmed that fencing can be a sport that combines physical exercise with character building, strategic thinking, and teamwork.

The “Lygas” Fencing Club of Penteli would like to extend its warmest thanks to the Municipality of Penteli for its excellent cooperation and trust, as well as to all the children and their families who participated and embraced this initiative.

The conclusion of the Summer Camp does not mark the end of this wonderful experience, but rather the beginning of a new journey for many children who discovered and fell in love with fencing.
