European Circuit Sword Duel - Panhellenic Cup of Swordsmanship 15-16/3/25

Last weekend was full of action for Lyga, as our athletes participated in 2 events and specifically in the European Circuit sword duel, held in Florina, as well as in the Panhellenic Cup of Swordsmanship in Peania, Attica. The athletes achieved significant results in both competitions. Starting with Florina and the U12 category, Poulitsa Danae climbed the podium by winning the 2nd place, making an excellent performance, while she also participated in the above category, winning the 47th place. For the boys and the U12 category, Manos Rapessis came in 14th place, while Iridinos Garinis came in 30th place. For the U14 category, Katsoulas Georgios won the 34th place, Garnis Orionas the 35th, Vergados Leonardo the 38th, Manos Rapessis the 44th and Bournousouzis Dimitris the 47th respectively. The athletes also competed in the above category, obtaining even better results among older athletes with Garini Orion winning the 12th place, Katsoulas Georgios the 17th, Bournousouzis Dimitris the 22nd and Vergados Leonardo the 23rd. For the Panhellenic Cup in saber in the Paiania, our athlete Agni Palaska made a very good performance, moving up to 19th place among 50 athletes in the category. Congratulations to all our athletes!
