Lyga's Competition Schedule for the ARISTON CUP & CGS Sabre Cup
The Penteli “Lyga” Fencing Club continued its active competitive schedule by participating in two major events: the “Andreas Germakopoulos – Niki Sidiropoulou” Cup (ARISTON CUP) and the CGS Sabre Cup.
ARISTON CUP – Sabre
As part of the “Andreas Germakopoulos – Niki Sidiropoulou” Cup, the club’s male and female athletes competed in multiple categories, gaining valuable experience.
Women’s Category
Lydia Papadopoulou: 30th place
Evangelia Kamargaki: 41st place
Chara Karakosta: 45th place
Men’s Category
Leonardo Vergados: 56th
Socrates Kelemidis: 68th
Orpheas Kastrinos: 82nd
Alexander Papadopoulos: 84th
It is worth noting that the athletes in the men’s category competed in a higher age group, gaining valuable experience against more experienced opponents, a fact that makes their participation particularly commendable.

CGS Sabre Cup
On Sunday, March 22, the club participated in the CGS Sabre Cup competitions, held at the Kosta–Geitona Schools.
Our athlete, Panagiotis Svoronos, delivered an outstanding performance, securing 6th place, demonstrating fighting spirit, focus, and significant progress.
Our club congratulates all the athletes for their efforts, as well as the parents for their ongoing support, and continues its competitive journey with vigor.
