U20 FLORINA DUEL FENCING CUP

The new competitive season got off to a dynamic start for Lyga with its participation in the U20 Fencing Cup, held in Florina on September 26.

In the first competition of this year’s season, the club’s athletes made a resounding impact with impressive performances, getting the new season off to a very positive start.

In the U20 category, Sofia Palaska finished in 20th place, while Nikolas Antypas stood out in particular, making his first individual appearance for our club and finishing in 7th place, reaching the final eight of the competition and coming very close to the medal round!

Our athletes’ participation in the first event of the season marks an important first step for the new competitive year and, at the same time, a solid foundation for what lies ahead.

The “Lygas” Fencing Club of Penteli warmly congratulates Sofia and Nikolaos on their efforts and wishes all our athletes a dynamic and successful competitive season.
